Acupuncture significantly increases IVF success

Recent research (Meta analysis published July 2023) has illuminated the tangible benefits of acupuncture in IVF treatments. A systematic review and meta-analysis involving 4,757 participants found that acupuncture:

–Increased implantation rates by 28%
–Increased IVF clinical pregnancy rates by 33%
-Increased live birth rates by 33%
–Decreased the risk of biochemical pregnancies by 51%

The studies have shown that a series of acupuncture in the weeks leading up to retrieval/transfer and acupuncture immediately before and after transfer onsite on transfer day increases IVF/FET success.

Olive Fertility Clinic did a 2-year chart review of their patients who had FET of chromosomally screened normal embryos transferred that had Acubalance treatments before and after transfer onsite at Olive vs those who did not. They observed higher pregnancy rates and lower miscarriage rates in those FET cycles who had received Acubalance sessions onsite at Olive. Those who did an additional series of 7 or more acupuncture and LLLT sessions leading up to their transfer had an even higher pregnancy rate and lower miscarriage rate.
