How to book your IVF acupuncture transfer day appointment in advance of your Olive transfer?

Onsite IVF acupuncture transfer day appointments are available 7 days a week. You will eventually be given a transfer date by Olive usually a week in advance, but not the exact time until the day before. 

Once you have a confirmed date for your transfer, call Acubalance to book you for that date at the placeholder time of 7:00 AM.  Don’t worry, nothing happens at 7am. It is just your placeholder.

Olive will confirm with you the actual time of your transfer the day before, and you just need to call us  at Acubalance once you know your confirmed time so we can meet you at Olive before your transfer.

Please ensure you complete an intake form before your transfer day appointment. This will be sent to you in a separate email. We require this form and your consent to treat. We will also put a credit card on file for payment, which we will email to you later that same day.

What happens on the day of your transfer?

On the day of your transfer, we meet you at Olive 30 minutes before your transfer time. You will have a treatment before and after your embryo transfer onsite at Olive.  

For example, if your transfer is scheduled for 12:30 PM with Olive, you’ll arrive for your Acubalance IVF acupuncture on-site at Olive Fertility by 12:00 PM.

When you arrive at Olive Fertility, check in at their reception and let them know you’re there for your transfer and Acubalance IVF acupuncture. Once Olive staff are ready, they’ll take you to the recovery bay, where our Acubalance practitioner will meet you for the first part of your treatment before your transfer.

We incorporate traditional and laser acupuncture, which has the added benefit of continued therapeutic effects as the photons interact with the acupuncture points even after the treatment is complete. This comprehensive approach is specifically designed to enhance your experience on this important day by promoting blood flow, eliciting relaxation, and supporting uterine receptivity.

After your first acupuncture session, you’ll proceed to your embryo transfer.

Once the transfer is complete, you’ll first empty your bladder and then have your second Acubalance IVF acupuncture session post-transfer.

We suggest booking a follow-up acupuncture treatment at our Acubalance Clinic location in Vancouver during the implantation window, 2–6 days after your transfer to support your overall well-being so your body can feel resourced to support implantation. It’s a wonderful way to support your body during this time.
