Mariana Noelle is a Registered Acupuncturist and soon to be Certified Holistic Nutritionist with a passion for blending ancient traditions and modern science. Her journey with Chinese Medicine began in Victoria BC, where she attended the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and fell in love with the holistic approach to health that Traditional East Asian Medicine offers.
After practicing for several years in Mexico offering Cosmetic Acupuncture and an integrative approach to weight loss using Chinese Medicine with other esthetic medicine modalities, she moved back to Canada and received a Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner from the International College of Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. Lately, she has been pursuing her deep interest in nutrition through the applied human nutrition program at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Mariana strongly believes that there is a seamless connection between functional nutrition and Chinese Medicine, as they both strive to find the root cause of disease using food as medicine.
Mariana loves providing a patient-centred approach with individually tailored treatments to help people in their journey back to health and healing. She is currently doing her nutrition practicum with Atira Women’s Resource Society offering nutritional and lifestyle advice to women who have been impacted by violence. As an incessant herbal apprentice, she believes that plants are powerful allies on our paths to becoming wholesome. The understanding that nature is wise and healing is intrinsically woven when using plants to heal. Mariana uses Western and Chinese herbs to support different imbalances to help your body come back to homeostasis. She has apprenticed with Indigenous healers for over 15 years and is passionate about mindfulness, spirituality and indigenous allyship, and reconciliation.
