Introduction – A brief look into the anatomy and science of movement that supports qigong for fertility through the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis and the microcosmic orbit.
Self-Massage Practice – Learn techniques to soften the muscle and connective tissue, and flush the lymphatic system. Increase circulation and flush out toxins.
Warm-Up Series – Practice mobilizing joints for greater ease of circulation and movement.
Nourish Practice – Optimal during the follicular phase of a natural cycle, or before a frozen embryo transfer or IUI. Deep belly breathing with movement exercises to encourage healthy blood production and collection toward the reproductive organs.
Inspire Practice – Optimal around ovulation, or before a frozen embryo transfer or IUI. Encourage circulation of blood and qi throughout the body.
Express Practice – Optimal post-conception (natural or transfer) and through the first trimester of a pregnancy, or in preparation for an IVF retrieval. Bring energy upward to support new life.
Settle & Release Practice – Optimal during the pre-menstrual and menstrual phase of a natural cycle, or post-retrieval during an IVF cycle. A grounding practice to settle back into trusting the beat and rhythm of your body.
In this course, Kevin shares 6 self-care and qigong practices which support varying stages of a fertility journey. These gentle exercises are safe for the body and calming for the mind.
