Men's Health Initiative part 2: What can we do about it?

In my last blog post, I talked about some of the root problems facing us as a society when it comes to men’s health and wellness. I argue that systemic change is necessary if men are to feel welcomed into the healing institutions so integral to our society. But what about in the meantime? Short of rototilling our social structure, what can we do right now to blast open the doors for men to get help? As a solution, Acubalance has declared a men’s health Call To Action.

For the month of June, myself and a few colleagues here at Acubalance are offering complimentary initial consultations for men. For patients new to the clinic, this amounts to a $130 value.

What you can expect at your initial assessment

When we meet for the first time, we will spend the appointment reviewing all details of your health picture. We’ll talk about history, goals, and general health parameters, such as digestion, sleep, energy, uro-genital as well as mental-emotional health. Together we will develop a plan for you to move forward. I will make recommendations for supplements, nutrition and diet, as well as treatments such as Acupuncture, Naturopathic, Laser therapy, or Cranio-Sacral Therapy, based on your specific needs. These recommendations are based on what you present during our first consultation, and will be tailored specifically for you.

With this initiative, we hope to make your first leap into self-care a little bit easier. Book an appointment today to get started on your wellness journey.
