This is a tricky question, because typically we use acupuncture points not for their individual properties, but as a prescription. I usually explain that they work together as a whole. The same can be said of the herbs (which are rarely prescribed in isolation but rather in formulas), and also foods.

One of the things Acupuncture has a good reputation with is Addictions. It can be helpful for smoking cessation, for example, but can also give excellent relief to folks battling more severe additions, such as polydrug users struggling to function in their daily lives.

It is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects up to 10% of women of reproductive age in Canada. We offer endometriosis treatments in Vancouver.

In my practice, I treat a variety of health complaints, such as eczema, allergies, fertility, digestive problems, anxiety and sleep. However, when you tell your friend that you see an acupuncturist, usually they assume it’s for pain.
