Christina Cecconi

“Chinese medicine, for me, is an incredibly relevant resource we can draw upon to elevate our quality of life as well as optimize our health and vitality”

Christina is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturist of British Columbia. She completed the 5 year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) program at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine here in Vancouver BC and has been
involved with Acubalance since 2008.

Christina brings her unique creative background as both an industrial and communication designer to her practice which makes her a great problem solver and excellent at figuring
out ambiguous symptoms. Her design training combined with her medical background allows her to create customized treatment plans after looking at both the finer details and
big picture of the patient’s health history.

Christina’s dedication and strong work ethic allowed her to graduate early from the 5 year DTCM program while mentoring under Dr. Lorne Brown, Acubalance clinical director and
founder.  She brings her gentle bedside manner and clear communication style to the treatment room and believes that patients are best served when medicine is holistic, patient-centered and results-driven.

Christina enjoys coaching and supporting patients at Acubalance Wellness Centre seeking assistance with fertility, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, unwanted weight gain, digestive
disorders, anxiety/feeling depressed and who desire to experience good health and vitality.
