Chronic Pain: From Level 10 Out Of 10 Pain to Taking Only 1 or 2 Pain Meds

My name is Tressa and three and a half years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). For three years I battled RA with an anti-inflammatory diet and a natural approach.  While I found some relief using these methods, the disease continued to progress, eventually resulting in pain in my left ankle, knees, hands, and wrists (I also have tendonitis in both shoulders). Whenever I stood up or tried to walk up stairs I would have excruciating pain and I tried not to stand when my children were present so they would not how much pain I was in. In an attempt to manage the intense pain I was taking two Tylenol, arthritis strength, and two Advil, regular strength, morning and evening.

Five weeks ago I started laser treatment on my knees at Acubalance and the change has been incredible!  I have gone from taking eight pain medications a day with a pain level of 10 out of 10 in my knees to taking only 1 or 2 pain meds a day, usually in the evening when my body is tired, with an average of 4.5 - 5 out of 10 on the pain scale.

To the average person this may still seem like a massive amount of pain; however, the significant change is the decrease in the amount of pain medication that I need to take.  As an extra bonus in the last three weeks, the pain in my shoulders has disappeared and the pain in my hands has decreased. I am not finished with treatment yet but I am ecstatic with the results I have seen in such a short period of time.
