I had IUI with Clomid-induced cycle on August 24 (Day 17); positive OPK on August 23. Typical cycle length=34-36 days (PCOS). Today is day 33. I would have expected my period on Monday, September 7, but it did not start. I had a negative pregnancy test this morning. Is it possible that I am testing too early for a positive result? Is there some other explanation for these contradictory signs? Thanks.

If you ovulated on day 18 and the clomid extended your cycle to 16 days then your menses should arrive by day 35 (making your cycle 34 days). If you are menses has not arrived by 18 days after ovulation or 19-20 days after LH surge then either you are pregnant or your LH surge was misinterpreted and you did not ovulate. If your EPT says negative by 18 days post ovulation then have serum blood test for pregnancy as well as progesterone (to confirm if you ovulated and if pregnant)
I am hoping you notice a positive EPT within the next day or two. Fingers crossed.
