Matcha Lattes

Matcha (powdered green tea) is a fantastic way to add greens into January. Green tea is a powerful source for antioxidants that we usually get in our summer fruits and veggies. -High in catchetin (EGCg) - the strongest anti-oxidant of them all (100 times more powerful in fighting cancer) -Promotes alpha waves to support a state of alert calmness and help with memory and concentration -Boosts metabolism to burn calories four times faster -Lowers LDL (the bad cholesterol).
Cooking time/temp: 
Under 5 minutes
Ingredients: 

1/2 tsp of matcha powder

1 cup almost boiling point water

ADD ONS (to taste - choose one or more):

1/4 milk or almond milk

1/4 cup coconut milk

and one of the following: tsp of vanilla, fresh ginger, orange or lemon extract.

 

 

 

Instructions: 

Froth or whisk ingredients together until creamy and foamy.
