Cilantro Pesto

This goes great with Quinoa Cakes, rice pasta or as a dip for raw veggies. My favorite way is to make this is to mix 1/2 kale with 1/2 cilantro. These potent greens act as detoxifiers and body alkalizing agents. Its not only great for your body... it tastes amazing too! Enjoy!
Ingredients: 

Yields 1 cup

4 cups chopped cilantro or 2 cups
cilantro with 2 cups chopped kale ½ cup pine nuts
3 to 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
6 to 8 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder or 2 to 3   fresh cloves
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh lime juice to thin to your   preferred consistency

Instructions: 

Put all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until well mixed. If you like your pesto thinner, add more oil or fresh lime juice.
